Offering These exceptional Pair of Rare Lenox porcelain plates made in the 1880s. 10 1/2 Inches in diameter.
The plates feature extremely well done with paintings of (#1)- Is of a young girl with a watering can in one hand, and a rake in the other, watering Roses. Plate # (2) Depicts a young boy in the forest, blowing a horn in one hand, and holding a spear in the other. Surrounding the Hand painted center of the plates is a embossed Gold Gilt Boarder, over a striking Mint Green base color. I have never seen another Lenox plate, with this level of Detail and Beauty. These plates are very clean and in near perfect condition.There is one faint scratch in the tree limbs that's barely visible on plate (#1). The Gold Gilding is bright and shiny. There are no other issues I can find.
